Some say it’s the secret to unlocking your full potential. Others believe that it’s just a bunch of nonsense.

But what we can’t deny is that many people nowadays are becoming more interested in the concept of feminine energy. It’s influencing how people look at the world, how they relate to one another, and how they form their most important relationships.

Whether we like it or not, the feminine energy craze affects the lives of more than just women. So what should men do about it?

Feminine Energy vs Masculine Energy

On the surface, the idea of feminine and masculine energies seems to be nothing more than a rebranding of traditional gender roles.

Feminine energy is often described using traits and qualities that are commonly associated with girls and women, while masculine energy is for boys and men. The former includes things like intuition, emotion, and gentleness. Its counterpart, on the other hand, talks about logic, strength, and control, among other things.

But despite many people conflating feminine and masculine energies with the gender binary, those who subscribe to this philosophy argue that it’s not necessarily the case.

Feminine Energy and Modern Romantic Relationships

The popular interpretation is that men and women have both feminine and masculine energies, and it’s simply a matter of utilizing the right energy to achieve certain goals in life.

In terms of feminine energy, it can sometimes be about men allowing themselves to get in touch with their emotional side. For women, it can be about reclaiming the femininity that the modern times have forced them to sacrifice.

When it comes to relationships between men and women, however, the main idea involves letting the softer side of love influence your dynamic with each other, as illustrated in the following examples:

  • A man dating a woman who is nurturing her feminine energy

The most obvious example of feminine energy manifesting itself in romance is a relationship between a man and a feminine woman.

If you’re a man and your girlfriend or wife believes in the power of her feminine energy, her lifestyle will no doubt have an influence on what kind of partner she is to you.

Even if you don’t share her beliefs, how you respond to her will direct the kind of dynamic you’ll end up having.

  • A woman helping her partner be more emotionally vulnerable

Not believing in feminine energy doesn’t automatically mean that your relationship is exempt from the concept itself.

If your girlfriend or wife is the type who encourages you to express your feelings or be more emotionally vulnerable, then some can claim that to be an example of feminine energy at work.

If you’re worried about it being emasculating, don’t worry. Everyone deserves to be emotional once in a while — regardless of your gender.

  • A couple meeting each other halfway to reach a healthy and balanced dynamic

If we follow the idea that all of us have both feminine and masculine energy, then finding a balance between both within us can also help in establishing a balance in our relationships.

Being a man doesn’t mean you can eliminate all traces of feminine energy in your life, especially in your relationship with women. If you don’t want to call it that, then you don’t have to.

But sometimes, a modern couple requires a modern mindset, and even trending philosophies can help you build a loving and committed relationship.
